Clip It and Tag It

I hope you've had a chance to visit the Lifestyle Crafts blog lately to see their new release "It Kits" as well as participate in their awesome giveaways! The "It Kits" are fabulous!  There are so many ways to use them!

Here are a couple of projects that I made with the "Tag It" and "Clip It" sets.  All of these projects are super simple and quick projects that anyone can make!

First up:
Gift card tags!

I chose to use the digital file that comes with the "Tag It" kit to enlarge my tag so that I could fit a gift card inside.  Lifestyle Crafts has made it so that these kits are all very versatile by including FREE digital copies of all their images in every "It Kit," so you can re-size them, alter them, and personalize the images for you, and then cut them out in your own digital cutting machine!  So much fun!  And see the little white chipboard star under the twine bow?  That was made using the Nesting Star dies.

Patterned paper: My Mind's Eye
Twine: The Twinery
Ribbon: Stampin' Up!

Next project:
Magnets!

I made these cute magnets using the "Clip It" dies.  I cut each clip base out of paper, Lifestyle Crafts chipboard (to make them stiff) and then Lifestyle Crafts magnet material.  Then I sandwiched them together, glued, and trimmed part of the magnet material off the back so that the magnet could actually "clip" when it was on the magnet board.

One more project for today....
"Clip" Gift bag tag
The bag was die-cut using the "paper bag die" and an actual paper grocery bag!  Cute, huh?  Then the clip was cut twice, once out of paper and once out of Lifestyle Crafts chipboard media to make it more stiff.  Then I used the Lifestyle Crafts metal sheets to die-cut the thought bubble.  Super fast, simple, and cute.  Wouldn't you love a gift bag like this filled with treats?

Stay tuned for more of my projects using these kits, including more altered items and scrapbook layouts!
And visit the Lifestyle Crafts blog tomorrow (Tuesday) to see this week's exciting giveaway.  Enter to win and tell them "Rhinestones and Ribbon sent me."
